When Marriages Hurt: A Pastor's Guide to Helping Couples in Crisis

Thursday, January 7th, 2027 | 11:30AM – 12:45PM

Lunch & Learn

Pastors and ministry leaders are often among the first people couples turn to when a marriage is in crisis. Yet knowing when to listen, when to counsel, when to intervene, and when to refer can be difficult. This training will equip ministry leaders to respond to hurting marriages with a greater awareness of complex concerns such as chronic conflict, betrayal, abuse, addiction, mental health struggles, and family instability.

Presented by Dr. Rebecca Hill, MS, LPC-MHSP, NCC, Certified Supervisor. She is a graduate of Georgia State University (Masters of Science in Community Counseling), Richmont University (Christian Counseling), and also holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Liberty University. Her research field includes spiritual and religious integration in training and therapy. Rebecca has provided private practice professional counseling services for the past 30 years.

This event is free, and lunch will be provided.
